Dr Sue Price

Director of Pastoral Outreach

For me, the continuing journey of studying theology is a living out of St Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians, it is to ‘know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine, according to His power that is working in within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen (Eph 3:19 – 21).

As a Practical Theologian I am constantly amazed at the ‘infinitely more’ that I see on a daily basis. I see one of the tasks of practical theology to be walking alongside others encouraging them to recognise the fullness of God, the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit working within them.

I have just completed my PhD which was an exploration into the silent spirituality of severely disabled children. My specialist areas of interest are Children’s Spirituality, the use of Godly Play and outreach work into parishes.
