Study Day: Christ and the Cosmos
‘To gather up all things in Him, things in heaven and things on earth’ (Ephesians 1:10). The first Christians had a keen sense that Christ came to save the whole creation, not just humankind. Gradually this cosmological tradition of Christianity got forgotten, but with the environmental crisis it has become more relevant than ever. It also offers rich and liberating insights on sin and repentance, the Cross, purgatory and heaven, angels and stars, the feminine and the body, and the place of the arts and psychology in Christian life.
