Elizabeth is joining the Margaret Beaufort Institute of Theology as Research Associate in 2018-19. This autumn she will also begin her three-year post as La Retraite Fellow in Theology and Spirituality at the Department of Theology and Religion of Durham University and the Centre for Catholic Studies. Her current research project, titled, 'Travailing Toward Vision: Julian of Norwich and the Art of Loving Attention', is a study of vision as a form of loving attention through the writings of Julian in dialogue with the visual culture of her medieval Norwich and select modern artists. She is also currently preparing her manuscript, Becoming Beauty: The Art of David Jones and the Craft of Theology for publication.
