Research interests

The Institute has particular specialism in ethics, intercultural hermeneutics, political theology, and theology and the arts.

  • Dr Anna Abram’s key specialisms are moral development, virtue ethics, the relationship between morality and theistic spirituality, theological and global ethics.
  • Dr Férdia Stone-Davis’ research interests centre upon music and its relation to philosophical and theological anthropology, ethics, epistemology and world-making.
  • Dr Louise Nelstrop's research specialises in mysticism, medieval theology and religion, spirituality, theology and love, and the English mystics.
